Thomas Scott,
Vice President of Technology

Thomas Scott has served as the Vice President of Technology of the Company since 1992. From 1985 to 1992, he was Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering for Skywalker Sound, the post production division of LucasArts/Lucasfilm Ltd. Previously, he was Chief Engineer of The Record Plant and eventually worked in film sound on the picture Apocalypse Now. Tom has been involved with motion pictures since then, being employed at American Zoetrope, Dolby Laboratories and LucasArts as Director of Engineering. During this period Tom received two Oscars, Academy Awards for Best Sound, for the films The Right Stuff and Amadeus. His last LucasArts project was the supervision of the EditDroid and SoundDroid, revolutionary computer-based picture and sound editing equipment. Previous to the foregoing, he was Chief of Maintenance and Director of Remote Operations at Record Plant in Sausalito, and earlier at Wally Heider Recording, one of the first independent recording studios. He also served as an engineer with the Peace Corps in Venezuela. Tom is active in numerous professional organizations and standards committees, including the Audio Engineering Society; the Society of Professional Audio Recording Studios; the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Society of Motion Picture Television Engineers. Tom is a Life Fellow of the latter Society and has served as Engineering Director. Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Erin Cooksley,
Vice President of Operations

Erin has been with EDnet since 1994, initially serving in the capacity of scheduling bridging sessions. In 2001, she was promoted to Operations Director overseeing operations and technical support, and in 2013 she was elevated to Vice President of Operations for the Division. Erin previously hails from Portland, Oregon where she worked as an actor in theater, local commercial, radio and film. Erin earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University.


Ron Guensche,
Engineering and New Product Development

Ron has been working with audio for as long as he can remember. A graduate of SFSU's Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts program, Ron has been with EDnet for over 13 years. As a member of EDnet's engineering team, Ron is responsible for front-line tech support as well as providing pre- and post-sales consultations to our varied client base. More than just the guy that answers the phone when you call, he also researches new products and services. In addition to this, he also does remote recording work for local music acts and events, and mixes live sound at local music venues.


John Ammons,
Chief Engineer

Hailing from Upstate New York, John put his long time obsession with high-end home audio to work, obtaining a degree in Audio Production from San Francisco State University. One year later, in 1996, he began his tenure at EDnet, where he has been Chief Network Engineer since 2000. When he isn’t bridging studios together or battling phone companies on behalf of EDnet’s affiliates, he enjoys wine, food, basketball, and mountain biking.


Macy May,
Director of Security

Macy has been with EDnet since the age of 6 months. She has been essential in all areas of audio and premise security, including barking, snorting and occasional snoring. In addition to her work here at EDnet, Macy enjoys sleeping, eating and learning new tricks from Mr Tom Scott.
