Using ISDN you can transmit and receive two mono channels to and from separate locations, even transmit and decode streaming AAC and MP3 audio over Ethernet. And in the field, Zephyr Xstream is a powerful remote tool, with intuitive step-by-step operation, context sensitive help, and a simple user interface that eases operation for non-technical personnel. DolbyFax™

DolbyFax™, though no longer manufactured, is still the longtime favorite of the Film and Television community. While earlier DolbyFax units use only the Dolby AC-2 algorithm, the DP503/524 codecs feature multiple algorithms AC-2 in stereo and mono, AC-3 two channel, and even MPEG Layer 2. Th DP503 has integrated front panel control and an internal speed-dial directory for use with Ascend terminal adapters. DolbyFax generally requires only two ISDN BRI lines for standard AC-2 256Kbit operation, delivering two 20kHz discrete audio channels in each direction! The basic DolbyFax setup is a DP503 Encoder, DP524 Decoder, Ascend Terminal Adapter, and Ascend hand-held terminal for diagnostics and maintenance. Typical DolbyFax applications are ADR, long distance session supervision, mix approvals, music overdubs, and sound design collaboration.

Suprima

Suprima is a versatile, multi-network audio codec which can utilize many different industry standard types of communication networks to transport studio quality audio. Suprima supports the most popular coding algorithms, including G.711, G.722, MPEG1/2 Layer II with MUSICAM enhancement, MPEG1/2 Layer III, MPEG2/4 AAC LC and MPEG4 LD and apt-X™ as well as bidirectional uncompressed linear audio transmission over IP through its standard Ethernet 10/100 port.

Suprima LC

Suprima LC is an affordable IP audio codec offering a subset of the features of Suprima. Suprima LC is a multi-algorithm stereo audio codec over IP or X.21/V.35 supporting many popular coding algorithms including G722, MPEG1/2 Layer II, MPEG1/2 Layer III and uncompressed linear audio (PCM). Other compression modes can be offered as an option. Each Suprima LC fully supports IP (TCP and UDP), terminated with a 10BaseT/100Base-TX Ethernet port (RJ45 connector). This enables remote monitoring/configuring and data/audio transportation over data communication links (LAN, Wan, Internet…). (LAN, Wan, Internet…).

RoadWarrior LCW

RoadWarrior LC W is a portable, IP and ISDN full duplex, audio codec. Compact, lightweight, and easy to use, RoadWarrior LC W is a portable audio codec with Suprima functionality. Included is a built-in 2-channel mixer to route and mix both input and output sources. All audio and communication parameters, including input/output signals and audio levels are remotely configurable, and can be stored in presets to assist non-technical users with setup. RoadWarrior LC W is based on the Suprima IP and ISDN dual audio codec and can send and receive simultaneously via IP through its Ethernet port (10/100BaseTX), and can also connect to ISDN codecs through it’s built in 1-BRI terminal adapter.

RoadWarrior XL

RoadWarrior XL is a portable audio codec supporting IP, 3G, ISDN and PSTN communication interfaces. RoadWarrior XL is a new full-duplex, dual (Program and talkback) audio codec, based on its predecesor RoadWarrior LC but with more inputs and outputs. Its design, more robust, compact and with a flat surface, prevents from damages on the knobs and make it easier to use. RoadWarrior XL incorporates 4 mic/line level inputs and 1 line level input for monitoring purposes, named International Sound Input. It comes fitted with 4 headphone outputs, and with a USB interface to connect a 3G modem.

It includes a built-in 4 channel mixer to route and mix both input and output sources. All audio and communication parameters, including input/output signals and levels are remotely configurable, and can be stored in different presets to ease the set up of the unit by non technical stuff.
